Recently awarded a 2018 AAA 4-Diamond Award, the inn was also awarded the highest Zagat rating, an Open Table “Top 10 Restaurant” award and frequently earns “Best B&B,” “Best Brunch” and “Best European Fine Dining” by Utah Best of State Awards.
Chef Eric May’s fusion of European and American styles is refl ected in the seasonal house-made menu. Perennial fi rst course favorites include Wild Boar Swedish Meatballs, Slow-Cooked Escargot and the classic Fondue for Two—a blend of Gruyere and Emmental Cheeses served with apples, cornichons, ham, salami and bread. In addition to traditional Holsteiner Schnitzel with sautéed spaetzle, guests enjoy Filet Mignon, Seared Scallops and Potato Crusted Salmon. Vegetarian and Gluten-free options are also available. The Blue Boar Inn is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and a three-course “Prix-Fixe” dinner on Wednesdays.
