Livin’ Well at the Jordanelle

Just north of Heber City and an easy fifteen-minute drive from Park City is the Jordanelle Reservoir and State Park. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it is fed and drained by the Provo River. The park opened in 1994. During the summer months, Jordanelle is certainly the place to be. Boating, fishing, camping, and picnicking are just the beginning of accessible activities. Spend a beautiful and sunny day on the water! No water sports equipment of your own? No worries. Jordanelle Rentals and Marina offers on site boat, jet ski, kayak, tube, and stand up paddle board rentals. Additionally, they have beach games and beach chairs for rent. An on site store provides all the camping, fishing, and boating supplies you’ll need plus a convenience store with all your favorite snacks. There are reservable campsites for RVs and tents as well as areas for picnicking. Be sure to check the events schedule to see what’s in store for the warm months ahead. With the amazing activities and amenities, the park park has become very popular. Visit during the weekdays or evenings for a quieter experience.
