Call of the Wild – Utah ATV Trails

Is the great outdoors calling your name?

All-terrain vehicles (ATV’s) and their side by side cousin, the Razor, will take you into  Utah’s backcountry, and put you in touch with your inner “mountain man.”

With easy access to two mountain ranges (Wasatch and the Uintas) and hundreds of miles of ATV trails, you’re just minutes away from forested tracks and winding embankments.

There are several options for renting an ATV. Local companies can assist you with the best selection. You will also want to decide between a guided or self-guided tour. Unless you’re a hardcore experienced rider, you may more fully enjoy the professional guided ATV tour. On the other hand, self-guided tours allow you more control of your time and the ability to test your limits.

All good mountain men are prepared for their environment so make sure you dress properly, ie: long pants and sleeves, goggles and gloves. Always, always wear your helmet! Additionally, pack a few essentials like water and sunscreen. You should also ask the ATV company if they recommend you bring anything else.

Once you have selected your ATV package, head to the backcountry and enjoy the endless trails, majestic wildlife and breathtaking views of Mount Timpanogos, the Heber Valley, Cottonwood Canyons and Park City. I promise that by the end of your adventure you will have answered nature’s call with a joyful holler back!
