Main Street Social
Focusing on the season’s freshest farm to table ingredients with a chef’s true passion for culinary excellence, Vanessa and Ashley Chapman are excited to announce the opening of their new restaurant, Main Street Social, Heber.
With a rotating menu allowing these owner-chefs to showcase the charm and bounty of the Wasatch back, there are 35 seats in the main dining room, with plans to add a club lounge and separate dining room for special events. Outside there’s a fantastic patio with an additional 70 seats and fire pits perfect for sunset dining.
Vanessa and Ashley fist met in the kitchen at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in The Claridges Hotel, London. It was there under the bright lights and over the hot stove that their love of cooking and each other flourished. Together they later traveled the world in pursuit of culinary adventures and knowledge before arriving in Park City, “We had traveled, cooked, and now we were ready to build,” says Vanessa. “I cherish all the chefs I had an opportunity to learn from in Park City. Chip McMullen (St. Regis) taught me to be a consummate professional, James Dumas (High West) demonstrated the importance of customer relations and team management, and Briar Handly (Handle) showed me how to truly respect the ingredients. But it was my husband, Ashley, that gave me the confidence and support to fi nd my culinary voice and start our own restaurant.”
When the Chapmans later moved to Heber City, they immediately fell in love with the valley. They knew they had found the place to build their life, business and family. The sale of The Sidetrack Café came at the perfect ti me. “We knew it was the perfect place for a locally run restaurant serving fresh, classic food, and we feel privileged to welcome everyone to a new casual, upscale dining experience in Heber.”
