Melivin’s Public House

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

Melvin’s Public House is the place to go for sports, food, drinks and fun. It is one of the only sports pubs in Heber City. Melissa Laird, Melvin’s owner explains, “My husband and I live four blocks away and wanted a place to watch football, drink beer, and eat wings.”

On any given evening, a mix of locals and visitors enjoy dinner at Melvin’s. The crowd at Melvin’s is eclectic. It’s an ideal place for date night, girls’ night out and après-ski or snowmobiling. Their kitchen is open until 10:00 pm for all items and midnight for wings and appetizers making it a convenient stop for locals.

Melvin’s menu is filled with traditional choices. Melissa’s favorite is the Melvin Burger, with a thick slab of Velveeta cheese, bacon and an onion ring on top. The menu includes eight different flavors of wings that can be mixed and matched. They also off er cheese fries, poutine (fries with gravy and cheese curds), nachos, onion rings and some healthy salads.

With 11 TVs, you can see all of the games. This year, the kitchen will be cooking up regional specialties for Monday Night Football like chowder for the Patriots and wings for Buffalo.

Twelve taps pour local Utah beers with another 30 available. Wine drinkers will appreciate the care Melissa puts into the selection—different from the average pub.
