THE BAGEL DEN
Start your day with a breakfast bagel sandwich or smoothie at The Bagel Den, home to Heber’s finest fresh bagels. Featuring food for vegetarians and carnivores along with options for dining in or taking out, The Bagel Den is a local favorite for breakfast, lunch and after school snacking. Breakfast sandwiches include a cracked egg or egg whites. For lunch, choose from an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches like turkey and bacon or vegetarian with hummus. In addition, the Bagel Den can help with catering for office events and at-home celebrations. The Bagel Den whips up custom cream cheese spreads like bacon scallion and blueberry with all kinds of sweets and savory flavors in between.

CHICKS CAFÉ
Chicks Café serves up breakfast, comfort food, lunch, dinner, and homemade pies on Heber’s historic Main Street. Offering their ever-changing Saturday Night Specials, like breaded pork steak and mashed potatoes or tilapia with lemon sauce, along with their standard menu items, Chicks Café really is “where people eat by choice, not by chance.” With delivery, pickup, and dine-in options, locals say, “I’ve never been disappointed at Chick’s Café.” (Nor, has anyone ever left hungry.) While their specialty is chicken fried steak served with mashed potatoes and brown gravy, the menu is filled with favorites for folks of all ages.

DAIRY KEEN
Since 1946, the Dairy Keen, “Home of the Train,” has been serving up traditional burgers, fries, and shakes. Over the years, the menu has expanded to include seasonal items including homemade soups made fresh daily during the winter months. Family friendly, Dairy Keen is committed to making eating out easier for those with gluten allergies. Jan, the owner, ensures that there is no cross contamination. In addition, she sources the finest gluten-free ingredients. Dairy Keen is perfect for date night and family fun.

DON PEDRO’S FAMILY MEXICAN RESTAURANT
Serving authentic Mexican food in the heart of Heber is Don Pedro’s Family Mexican Restaurant. Mix it up with specialty margaritas, mole, and los mariscos, seafood. Committed to bringing high quality delicious Mexican food to the table every time, Don Pedro’s follows the philosophy that “our house is your house.”

GOOD GRAINS
Stop by Good Grains Gluten Free Baking Company a full-service coffee shop with fresh-baked goodies, sandwiches, and more. WASATCH BACK GRILL & DELI
For over seven years Wasatch Back Grill & Deli has been serving an extensive menu that appeals to the whole family. Freshly grilled burgers and delicious sandwiches are complemented by unique sauces and homemade sides, like fries and onion rings. In addition, on the lighter side, the menu features gourmet salads. Jessica shares that “our Philly cheese steak sandwiches are tasty and popular.” However the regular go-to for folks is the Wasatch Back Burger.

GOOCHY GOO BBQ
If you’re looking for the best BBQ in Heber Valley, look no further than Goochy Goo BBQ–smoked low and slow this is the best BBQ in the Heber Valley. Whether you are feeding a crowd (check out their catering menu) or looking for brisket, andouille sausage, or pork for lunch or dinner, Goochy Goo has you covered with signature sandwiches, street tacos and everything in between including sides like baked beans, funeral potatoes, and, of course, cole slaw and potato salads.

THE GRASSY COW FOOD TRUCK
A new favorite to the Valley is The Grassy Cow Food Truck. This family-owned business serves grass fed, all steak burgers directly from their local farm to the table. Open all year long, experience the “addiction” that has taken over Heber Valley.

MIDWAY MERCANTILE
Mix-it-up at the Midway Mercantile—the ambiance blends historic with contemporary chic with Chef John Platt serving the “most high end and consistently prepared food in the Heber Valley.” The Midway Mercantile welcomes families with a warm fireplace and hearth before or after an Ice Castle or tubing adventure. Chef’s winter menu features parmigiana crusted pork tenderloin, campfire Idaho trout, and 45-day aged prime ribeye steak.

LUPITA’S VALLEY MEXICAN RESTAURANT
Also in Midway is Lupita’s Valley Mexican Restaurant. Known for their authentic Mexican flavors and dishes, owner Carla Vianey recommends her personal favorite—Chile relleno. Two roasted poblano peppers stuffed with Queso Fresco Verde, covered in a thin layer of egg batter, pan fried and topped with homemade tomato salsa–delicious! Lupita’s offers in-person dining and curbside pickup.
