Head Over to Heber Hatchets

Move over mini golf and paintball, there’s a new empowering, competitive, and stress reducing way to hang with friends, impress a date, or bond with coworkers—axe throwing.

Heber Hatchets, which opened in July of 2018, offers a safe and secure way to fling an axe through the air and (attempt to) lodge it in a wooden mark. While beards and flannel shirts are not required, looking the part of a lumberjack is reportedly helpful.

Participants fi rst learn the basics of axe throwing in a safe indoor throwing bay where they’ll receive instruction from an “axpert” before turning into Paul Bunyan. There are two throwing lanes and groups of six to ten are recommended, making the activity and venue perfect for birthday parties, family reunions, corporate events, and girl power or mountain man gatherings. Larger groups can be accommodated.
